Reflection

1. Comparing your experiences of practicing teaching in the Microteaching class and your learning experiences when you were still students, how did you view the teaching methods/techniques, and which one is more effective in terms of engaging students to learn?

When practicing teaching in microteaching classes, I realized how important modul ajar in planning learning in the classroom. Modul ajar not only a guide for teachers, but also help to ensure that learning takes place in a structured manner and in accordance with the objectives to be achieved. As a student in the past, I often felt that learning was not well-planned and interesting, so I was less motivated to learn because learning was only centered on lectures, making it boring and less motivating.

Through my microteaching experience, I began to understand how varied teaching techniques can affect students' interest in learning. I tried applying methods such as interactive discussions and games based on the teaching material, and the results were more engaged and enthusiastic students. When compared, teaching techniques that actively involve students proved to be more effective in attracting their interest than traditional teacher-centered methods.

2. After performing in front of your classmates, what aspects do you think you still need to improve?

I think the aspect of speaking should be further improved. Because my speaking is still too fast to teach students. This speaking speed will make it difficult for students to understand what I am saying.

3. Based on the aspects to improve, what strategies will you do to get better performances?

Based on the aspects that need improvement, what strategies will you do to get a better performance? Practice to reduce the speed of speaking so that later during real practice students can understand what I am saying.
